Goodbye Yellow banana and Hello my new Mommy Family Car!!
Yes, Black Friday was a Sunshiny Friday for this household when my hubby decided to surprise me with a visit to a car dealership at 6am this morning for our Chevy Traverse!!!! He got some killer deals on a car we have been eying since needing a bigger car for our THREE precious little ones.
Merry Christmas Freemans....you now have a new car payment boooooo!!! But it is all worth it for our little ones to make sure we do not get stranded in parking lots anymore, no more yellow banana.
We need a new name!!!
And there they are - in the THIRD row (the 2nd row was lying down). So much more room!!
Camp Caglewood is headed out again - but this time our amazing group is heading south of the Georgia border to see Cinderella and all of her friends!!! Our 'special friends' have been talking about this trip since February and most of them have NEVER been, stepped foot near Disney, or even dreamed of being able to go to the magical place. This is a once in a lifetime experience for our special friends - and THEY DESERVE IT to the 1 millionth degree!!
Our friends are so selfless, loving, and such amazing people - it is about time we take off to celebrate their amazingness and there is no better place to do it than Walt Disney World. But along with this celebration comes great costs. Our organization has been effected greatly by the fall of the economy, as have most other organizations, and our fundraising and giving has been cut in half this year.
I, along with all of our other volunteers, am seeking for others that would like to make a donation to our amazing trip coming up or just to our organization as a whole. Because our staff, board members, and committee members (EVERYONE) are all volunteer - you KNOW that your money goes completely to our trip and programming!! Even $10 will make a huge difference - 4 more gallons of gas to get to Disney!!!
Visit here to donate:

What a great Christmas present for our special people! And all donations are tax deductable!!!
If you know of someone or a group that may be interested...PLEASE pass on the donation link or my blog link. Let's do this!!!!

Elijah Jr. and Salad...
Yes, I said 'Salad' - that is the name Noah chose for his cabbage patch kid - pretty crafty huh?!? Caglewood visited Brasstown Bald and the new BabyLand General on our last trip and the Freeman boys (along with Mommy) were able to join in on the fun! Now that the boys are in our lives, my physical involvement in Caglewood is lacking - I do all of the behind the scenes stuff but I am not able to be around the campers as much as I long to be. So these 'close to home' trips are wonderful because we are able to tag along for some much needed Caglewood time!!
Of course, the boys loved hanging out with the campers (which is their highlight of every trip) but they were also able to bring home their 'getting ready for a new baby' babies. Now they can practice helping mommy like good big brothers =)

Salad:
It was a very COLD weekend in the N. GA. mountains - so cold that our group experienced snow on top of Brasstown Bald. But no biggie, everyone went back to the cabin for a warm thanksgiving feast of Lasagna and garlic bread, making turkeys, and reading Thanksgiving stories. Fun filled weekend!
Terrible Picture! But the boys just love some 'Stephen time' !!
Disney is next!!! Caglewood at Disney in December!! Watch out Cinderella...things are about to get CRAZY!
What it is like raising boys? Especially Freeman boys?
For those of you that raise only girls (which is pretty much every family member and friend that I have....wow, I suddenly feel shockingly alone...hehe) and have ever wondered..."What would it be like if I had boys?"
Well...here you go - here is your answer! Time changed this morning - boys were up and at 'em at 5 AM!!! I purposefully put them to bed at 10pm last night to avoid this. Did it work? Nope -
Up at 5 - Doing this by 7 AM !!!
And no, this is not a 1 time thing - once we have our breakfast, this is our day from 7am on....every day! Have we had any broken bones yet you say?? No, thank goodness - only TWO handfuls of ER visits so far...but no biggie. But believe me, I am waiting - I always know where the car keys and insurance cards are....even at 5am.
First of all - Happy Halloween!! What a great month of parties, great weather, and fun! We had a great time trick-or-treating this year even though Paul made me stay home so that I wouldn't go into labor from all the walking. I had fun answering the door, seeing all the neighborhood kiddos and getting some 'mommy time' all to myself.
Baby:
'Baby the Hut' is doing very well and growing every day. I had a Dr.'s appmt on Monday and they think that the partial bed rest is working - so no more preterm labor tests!! Although, at the end of this week I will be 32 weeks already - 8 MONTHS! I can't believe it, so if baby is born soon, we will be much better off than if it happened 2 months ago. Great appointment! Great progress!
Headed up to Glisson yesterday for our annual fall photo session - just me and the boys. SUPER cold, but magical and beautiful. I love to tell them the stories over and over again about how special this place is to Paul and I, and they love to dream about the day that they will be campers and counselors and walk in mommy's and daddy's footsteps.
Elijah contemplating life:
Where Paul proposed and where Elijah was baptized:
Awesome hiking!
Where we were married: I just can't get enough of this chapel! The boys loved playing in here and pretending to put on shows up on stage. I would live in this chapel if I was allowed.
