This is what I walked in to this morning after making breakfast for the boys…

Love is in the air today!! I love my babies, my husband, my wonderful friends, and my very blessed life.

…Not that I need Valentine’s Day to show me the love in my life…but it sure is fun to make an entire day of it!! Now off to snuggle with my babies and bake =)

Thank you to all of you for your support for our Disney trip (we couldn’t have done it without you) and for those of you that have supported us for the past 10 years. For TEN YEARS Caglewood has been serving our special needs community – I can’t believe it!!! Also thank you to our wonderful and devoted volunteers, Caglewood wouldn’t exist or function without you!

I wanted to post so many pictures the week of Disney, but all pictures sent to me via phone were of terrible quality so I decided to wait until after they returned with camera photos. Caglewood took many photos on the Disney trip……downloaded them onto a computer, updated the computer shortly after, and the photos were erased during the update!!!!! So upsetting! So I have scrounged a few pictures up from the other counselors that attended and a few good ones were in the bunch.

Can’t wait for another Disney trip this year! Our Caglewood schedule for 2011 is finally set in stone – it’s gonna be great one…can’t wait for the adventures. Hopefully this will be Eli’s first year of being a Jr. counselor for an entire trip – but we will see, I am still a little on the fence about him being there without me for a full 48 hours. First born….I am very protective =)

Go 2011 !!!! Fun times ahead!! We are ALWAYS in great need of volunteers for our trips, so if you or someone you know may be interested, please pass on the info and feel free to let me know if you have any questions. But Warning…………if you do attend, be prepared to have the time of your life!!! You will never be the same.

Tummy Time Eyes…

Not quite sure how I keep catching the crossed eyes at the most perfect moment, but I think that the crossed eye phase is one of the cutest traits of a newborn!! Love it!!!

Tummy Time today:

Speaking of eyes – look at this child’s eyes! Not sure where Noah got his eyes, but I am extremely jealous of his eye lashes and the GREEN – my goodness, this picture does not do the color justice either. His eyes are so green – I will have to try for a better picture later.

A Peak Through the Window…

I caught a glimpse through the window of time this past weekend of what my life will be like in about 10 years. Time stood still as I looked through my house at how beautiful and boyish my world was and I realized that I really don’t know if I would know what to do with a girl?! Tommy (our neighbor) was over one evening and he and Eli were in the living room playing the Wii and talking ‘video game talk’ which of course, I don’t understand. Noah was running around crazy and stopping to play with Legos every few minutes. Paul was in the kitchen cooking dinner (what a great hubby) and I realized he was cooking hamburger helper – such a BOY dinner! And it hit me….what my life will be like in 10 years. Stinky teenage boys playing video games, talking guy talk, making food that is probably horrible for you but oh so good! All the while I look around and realize I am so alone in my ‘estrogen-ness’ but in love with the testosterone that surrounds me and protects me.

…And that is when I made my way to refrigerator to pour myself a nice glass of wine. In 10 years, I will be pouring a nice glass of wine all while filling my bathtub and lighting my candles – because I WONT understand the video game talk, I WONT want to be around the stickiness, and I WILL enjoy my boys pampering me =) and letting me relax like a princess.

This picture cracks me up!! It shows exactly what our days are like in this household. One child is always crying – while another is eating or obsessing over some sort of sweetness – while the other is completely oblivious as to what is going with the other two while being in his own little ‘happy world’. (Noah has 2 suckers and is so very proud)

Sweet Baby Boy started smiling, cooing, and talking this past week…
